The final "A Different Perspective" strip was never published, or even finished for that matter. Many of the panes were roughly colored inwaiting for finishing touches, several of the panels hadn't even been inked, and the lettering at the top was just a placeholder for better graphics.. After leaving Boulton and Park, I shopped the idea of the larger version of the story around to several comic book companies, and even considered trying to structure it as a 26 episode TV series. The comic companies were either not interested, or wanted something a bit more adult themed than I was comfortable with. The TV series idea never got off the ground due to...well...how writing for TV works. Five TV episodes were written, though, before I threw in the towel on that one. Around 1995, I met a cartoonist online named Dove Sherman...and so began the idea for a webcomic version of "A Different Perspective." |
