Rob and Bernice have moved back into
their childhood home to take care of Andrea after her mother's
death two weeks earlier. Trying to convince her that
taking care of the house is a lot of work she'll need help with,
they give her a bucket of house paint as a present.
After spending sometime at the
gravesite of her mother, worrying about the house, her family
and her halo that's gone grey, Faith, Hope and Charity come to
visit. After driving to a secluded area, Faith explains
that she is no longer connected to her sisters, but her sisters
are still connected to her.
Faith then drives off, leaving her
sisters behind with Andrea to see how long she can be seperated
from them. In a moment of anger, Andrea punches a tree,
and with a flash of blue, decimates it. It's then when
Andrea realizes that her blue power is controlled by her
Andrea walks home with the,
eventually supporting them when their strength falters.
Once home, Faith reveals this wasn't a test at all, but have
Andrea suffer a bit of revenge for what's happened, and to show
Andrea what's she's ahd to go through these last two weeks.
Faith, however, still can control the other two sisters and uses
that control to send Andrea away.
Getting back home, Andrea overhears
Rob and Bernice talking badly about Lise and, while they don't
think badly about Andrea, they only wanted the house back.
After a night agonizing over what has happened, she leaves the
house to fulfill her wish to be an angel. Her last words
to Rob, painted on a wall of the house, are "Take it."
Two weeks have passed since Lise's
death, and the last time Andrea has seen Faith, Hope or Charity.
With Lise gone, Rob and Bernice
have moved into the house to take care of Andrea. It is
mostly a pretence, though, as they've given her a bucket of
paint as a present to convince her that she will need help
taking care of the house.
Iblael has somehow managed to
disconnect Faith from her her sisters, but did not disconnect
her sisters from her. She leaves them behind to see how
long she can be disconnected from them.
Andrea, in a fit of anger,
decimates a tree using blue magic and realizes it's her emotions
that control it.
We finally see what happens when
one of the sisters is too far away for too long - sharp migraine
Faith blames Andrea for what's
happened, and uses her test to gain a little revenge on her.
However, she's not above using her control over the other two
girls to drive Andrea away when they finally make it home.
Andrea overhears Rob talking about
Lise, revealing why there is so much animosity towards her by
the family. Lise's family is very religious and since
Andrea was born out of wedlock then was never baptized, Lise was
disowned. Her father forgot to update his will and so the
house was given over to Lise. While they don't blame
Andrea for any of this, she is in the way.
Andrea leaves the house to fulfill
her wish to be an angel, giving the house to Rob by painting the
words "Take It" on the wall.
The time was added to the
bottom right of Panel 1 of all the episodes after Part Four.
Lise's gravestone says "And
remember as you are passing by, that you must die as well as
I." This is the inscription on the grave that was the
basis for Lise's headstone.
Most of the images in this
episode were taken in 2000 on a photo survey of the Camino
Real. Many of the markers can be seen in the images.
A Camino Real Marker is visible in Part Four on the left
side of Panel 5. Other shots include Part Eight Panel
2 and 3.
The angel's sleeve at the end
of the series was meant to be Hanna's.
